With such a shortened work week in front of me, I have a strange mixture of excitement that the weekend is not as far away as it usually is and dread that I won't fit in as much productivity into the week as I would like. I do have a lot to look forward to in the coming weekend; a trip to Richmond to see my sister, a Kayaking Film Festival, the Dale Chihuly exhibit at the VMFA, and the season premier of Spartacus!
But, I have a lot to conquer this week as well. I need to grapple with Alex's schoolwork and get him back on track, there's the matter of the Matisyahu tickets which haven't shown up in my mailbox yet, and a number of other projects to tackle.
It's time to go kick this day square betwixt the cheeks!
